Lil Wayne will now be featured across ads everywhere for the upcoming video game, Def Jam Rapstar, which is due out October 5th. Lil Wayne is appropriately featured on the ad the day his new I Am Not A Human Being has dropped and it’s also his birthday. Go download the album now.

Nicki Minaj jumps on the Octover/November issue of Complex magazine. She discusses her relationship with Lil Wayne and Drake, being celibate and her usage of “pause” and “no homo.”

Speaking of Young Money, did your labelmate Drake tell you he’d be mentioning wanting to marry you on his verse for “Miss Me” before you heard it?

Nicki Minaj: He told me he said something about me on a verse, but I didn’t think it would be anything like that. He let me hear it for the first time when we did Jay’s show at Madison Square Garden, the day before Wayne had to go to jail—that night he let me hear it on the headphones. But you know what else he told me he wrote for me? The Alicia Keys song “I’m Ready.” I happen to love the song. I never told anyone that, I hope he won’t get mad that I said that.

You’re gonna have Drake and Wayne fighting over you.

Nicki Minaj: You have no idea how much I love them. We joke around. That’s the thing about Young Money, we will say a lot of crazy shit in the press but we will get around each other and start cracking up laughing like brothers and sisters. Drake is a playboy. He probably told mad bitches he wrote them songs for ‘em.

I was looking through my twitter feed and came across a post from fellow bloger iJustine if there were any girl who I hope is actually as nerdy as she seems to be it be iJustine. The NY Times’ ArtsBeat blog got a early preview of the video for “Power”, which they said:

In a coming video for his single “Power” that was created by the artist Marco Brambilla, Mr. West is seen standing imposingly with a heavy chain around his neck. As Mr. West raps the camera slowly zooms out in one continuous, unedited take to reveal him in a classical structure, surrounded by female attendants who are partly or entirely nude; some kneel before him on all fours, others wear devil horns and still others are suspended upside down from the ceiling. The Sword of Damocles hangs precariously over Mr. West’s head, and behind him an unseen executioner is preparing to strike him with a blade. (ArtsBeat was allowed to watch a portion of this video but was not permitted to post it.)
